Traditional Chinese acupuncture is an ancient practice that helps to maintain the free flow of Qi throughout the body’s pathways for optimal health. If the Qi, or energy, is not flowing freely then pain and other ailments can result.
Acupuncture uses thin and sterilized filiform needles in various points of the body, which encourages the energy to move. In addition to needles, other methods of treatment include cupping, gua sha therapy, Tui Na massage, moxabustion, and traditional Chinese dietary recommendations.
Traditional Chinese acupuncture can help with a wide variety of ailments. These may be physical or emotional, and can include back pain, injury, arthritis, anxiety, depression, PMS or menopausal symptoms.
The first treatment can last up to 90 minutes including a detailed intake, with subsequent treatments lasting from 30-60 minutes.
